The calendar was born from the invitation of the curator Flavio Arensi to reflect on the theme of the square as a possible meeting place between art and the public.

The drawings were made then printed on panels of three by two meters, open to the city. An installation of 400 square meters accessible to all. A site specific Advent opened wide on Piazza San Magno in Legnano in 2017.

The Advent Calendar is a sort of magical expectation that precedes the Epiphany, an occasion for the reworking of a traditional element of popular culture.
