Foresta Rossa
Isola Madre, Stresa
2012
The botanical garden of Isola Madre is transformed into a suspended landscape, like the carousel positioned around the monumental Kashmir cypress, the fulcrum of the installation and the focal point of the visit. Each work of the artistic project on Isola Madre represents a narrative chapter where the surreal invention of dreams identifies with a forcibly real vision, highlighted by the relationship between the works, placed in close connection with nature in the garden. The natural beauty, botanical perfection, and almost geometric care of the place enter into a close relationship of meaning with the artworks, as if they had been sculpted to welcome them.
