SBARCO A VERBANIA
2012
Piazza Garibaldi, Verbania

0/5
A long thin boat cuts the square.
Two bronze men support it in a moment of arrival or departure.
The boat, overturned like a shell on the heads of the two men, is in polished steel. Life that flows around, the monuments and the sky are reflected on the surface of its keel which thus becomes a sort of shield, refuge or space for separation as well as connection between the two men.

Acting as a bridge between the mainland and the lake water, Sbarco is brought to Verbania in its final chapter, after having been installed in the main square of Pietrasanta and in Milan in front of the Central station (2010).
